Terms & conditions of sale

What we promise.
What you agree.

These terms apply when a consumer buys or pre-orders Flowie directly from our UK website. They are written to be read—not skipped.

01
The agreement

Who these terms are between.

These terms form the contract between you and FLOWIE COOLING LTD when you buy or pre-order the Flowie portable air conditioner directly from us as a consumer.

“Flowie”, “we”, “us” and “our” mean FLOWIE COOLING LTD. “You” means the person placing the order for purposes mainly outside their trade, business, craft or profession.

These terms should be read with the product page, checkout information, order confirmation and our Pre-order & Delivery, Returns, Warranty & Aftercare and Privacy pages. Product-specific information shown at checkout or in the order confirmation forms part of the contract.

02
Orders and acceptance

When the contract begins.

  1. 2.1

Please check your order, contact details, delivery address and selected payment route before submitting it.

  2. 2.2

Your order is an offer to buy the product on these terms. An automated acknowledgement confirms receipt but does not necessarily mean we have accepted it.

  3. 2.3

We accept your order when we send an order confirmation that expressly accepts it. The contract is formed at that point.

  4. 2.4

We may decline an order for a valid reason—for example, if payment cannot be authorised, we cannot deliver to the address, the product is unavailable, information is clearly incorrect, or we reasonably suspect fraud. We will explain where appropriate and refund any payment taken for an unaccepted order.

  5. 2.5

You must be at least 18 and legally capable of entering a contract. Please contact us promptly if the order confirmation contains an error.

03
The product

What you are ordering.

The product will materially match its description on our website and in your order confirmation. Images, colours and proportions are illustrative and may look different on individual screens.

Because Flowie is being manufactured ahead of launch, we may make minor technical, safety, regulatory, component or design changes that do not materially reduce the product’s main functionality, quality or value.

If we propose a material change before dispatch, we will explain it clearly. You may accept the change or cancel for a full refund. We will not increase the agreed product price for an accepted order without your express agreement.

Window kit and setupCheck the final compatibility information.

The included kit and supported window types will be described before dispatch. You remain responsible for checking measurements and following the final manual.

04
Prices and payments

Two clear ways to pre-order.

Prices shown at checkout include VAT where applicable. Any delivery charge or territorial surcharge will be shown before you place the order.

Best valuePay in full£449

Charged when you order. Nothing further is due for the product.

Founding full-payment price
More flexiblePay a deposit£50

Charged when you order, followed by £449 in March 2027.

Total product price £499
  1. 4.1

For the deposit route, we will send an advance reminder before the £449 balance is due and explain how it will be collected.

  2. 4.2

If a balance payment fails, we will contact you and provide a reasonable opportunity to update the payment method before cancelling the order.

  3. 4.3

Both the £50 deposit and full payment remain refundable before dispatch under chapter 6. There is no separate non-refundable reservation fee.

  4. 4.4

You authorise payment according to the option chosen at checkout. Payments are handled by the payment providers identified during checkout.

05
Delivery

Expected in April 2027.

By ordering, you expressly agree to the future delivery arrangement shown at checkout: expected delivery in April 2027, rather than delivery within 30 days.

01Order confirmedYour Flowie is reserved02Every six weeksMeaningful production updates03April 2027Expected delivery
  1. 5.1

Delivery territories, eligibility and charges are shown at checkout. Unless stated otherwise there, free standard delivery applies only to eligible UK-mainland addresses.

  2. 5.2

We will confirm dispatch details before the product leaves us. Tell us promptly about an address change; we can only accept it if the order has not entered dispatch and the new address is eligible.

  3. 5.3

If the expected delivery month changes, we will tell you clearly, explain the revised estimate and give you the choice to continue or cancel for a full refund.

  4. 5.4

Events beyond our reasonable control may affect production or delivery. We will take reasonable steps to reduce the effect and will not use such an event to remove your right to cancel following a delay.

  5. 5.5

The product becomes your responsibility when it is delivered to you or a person you identify to receive it. Ownership passes once we have received all amounts due.

06
Cancellation before dispatch

You remain in control.

You may cancel at any time before dispatch by sending a clear statement to returns@flowie.co.uk with your name and order number.

If you paid in full£449

The complete payment is returned.

+If you paid a deposit£50

The deposit is returned and the future £449 balance is cancelled.

There is no pre-dispatch cancellation fee or administration charge. Refunds are issued to the original payment method unless you expressly agree otherwise. Bank or card-provider processing times may apply after we issue them.

If the product has already been dispatched when we receive your cancellation, the after-delivery provisions in chapter 7 apply.

07
Change of mind after delivery

Your 14-day cancellation right.

You may cancel without giving a reason by telling us within 14 days beginning the day after you, or a person you nominate, receives the product. After telling us, you have a further 14 days to return it or make it available for the collection we arrange.

Tell us within14days+Return or make available within14days
  1. 7.1

For eligible UK-mainland change-of-mind returns, we arrange heavy-item collection and deduct £35 from the refund. Any different direct return cost for another eligible territory will be disclosed before collection.

  2. 7.2

We refund the product price and any standard outbound delivery charge you paid. We do not have to refund the extra cost of an enhanced delivery option.

  3. 7.3

We may wait until we receive the product back, or receive evidence of return where applicable, before refunding. We issue the refund within 14 days of that point.

  4. 7.4

You may inspect Flowie as you reasonably could in a shop. We may make a lawful deduction for loss in value caused by handling or use beyond that necessary inspection.

  5. 7.5

Please include supplied accessories and protect the unit securely. Original packaging is strongly recommended but its absence does not automatically remove your cancellation right.

  6. 7.6

Do not send the appliance without instructions. It must be drained as directed, kept upright and handled through an appropriate carrier because it contains sealed refrigerant.

08
Faults, damage and incorrect goods

When something isn’t right.

We are legally responsible for supplying goods that are as described, of satisfactory quality and fit for purpose. Change-of-mind collection charges do not apply to an accepted fault, damage or incorrect delivery claim.

  1. 8.1

Contact us with your order number and a clear description. Photographs of the product and packaging may help us act quickly, but reasonable evidence requirements will not be used to obstruct your legal rights.

  2. 8.2

Reporting visible transit damage promptly helps us investigate with the carrier, but does not create an artificial time limit on statutory rights.

  3. 8.3

Depending on the circumstances, your rights may include rejection within the initial legal period, or a repair, replacement, price reduction or refund. We will explain the appropriate remedy.

  4. 8.4

We arrange and pay for reasonable collection where return is required for an eligible fault, misdescription, damage or incorrect product.

09
Warranty and aftercare

Two years of Flowie cover.

The product includes a 2-year Flowie commercial warranty beginning on delivery. The warranty covers eligible manufacturing defects during normal domestic use, subject to its published terms.

The commercial warranty is additional to statutory rights. The expiry or exclusion of the commercial warranty does not by itself determine whether you have a remedy under consumer law.

Follow the final setup, cleaning, drainage, storage and safety instructions. Do not open the casing or sealed refrigerant system. Damage caused by misuse, accidental damage or unauthorised dismantling may fall outside the commercial warranty, without restricting rights relating to an underlying product defect.

10
Our responsibility

A fair allocation of responsibility.

If we breach the contract, we are responsible for loss or damage that is a foreseeable result of our breach or our failure to use reasonable care and skill. Loss is foreseeable if it was obvious or both sides knew it might happen when the contract was formed.

We supply Flowie for domestic and private use. If you use it mainly for business or commercial purposes, we are not responsible under these consumer terms for business losses such as loss of profit, revenue, opportunity or business interruption.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where doing so would be unlawful, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or responsibility for faulty or misdescribed goods and other statutory consumer rights.

You are responsible for using the product in accordance with the final manual and safety information. This does not excuse us from responsibility where the product or instructions are defective.

11
Privacy and communications

How we stay in touch.

We use personal information to process payment, manage the pre-order, deliver the product, provide updates, prevent fraud and provide support. Our Privacy Policy explains the information used, lawful bases, sharing, retention and your rights.

We will normally communicate about the contract by email. You agree that order confirmations, production updates, balance reminders and other contractual information may be provided electronically in a form you can save. Keep your email and delivery details current.

Contractual messages are separate from marketing. You can withdraw marketing consent without stopping necessary order, safety, warranty or service communications.

12
Complaints, changes and law

How the contract is completed.

If you have a concern, contact returns@flowie.co.uk. We will try to understand the issue and resolve it fairly. Nothing requires you to use an internal or alternative dispute process before exercising your legal rights.

The terms in force when we accept your order apply to that contract. We may update website terms for future orders. We will only alter an accepted contract where the law requires it, you agree, or a minor necessary change does not materially disadvantage you. A material proposed change will be explained with a genuine right to cancel for a full refund.

If part of these terms is found unlawful, the remaining terms continue to apply. A delay in enforcing a right does not automatically waive it. Only you and we have rights under this contract unless the law says otherwise.

These terms are governed by English law. If you live in Scotland, Wales or Northern Ireland, you retain the benefit of mandatory protections and may bring proceedings in the courts available where you live. We may also bring proceedings in those courts.

Optional form

Model cancellation form.

You do not have to use this form. Any clear statement that you wish to cancel is enough.
